Die James Sedgwick Distillery liegt 45 Minuten von Kapstadt entfernt am Ufer eines Flusses am Fuße des Bainskloof-Passes und wurde 1886 von J. Sedgwick & Co. gekauft. Die Brennerei produziert Malt und Grain Whisky, mit und ohne Rauch, der sich international wachsender Beliebheit erfreut.

Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

 

Aroma: Süß und cremig mit Anklängen von Zitrusfrucht und reiferen Früchten, Getreide.

Geschmack: Cremig und süß mit Vanille und Karamell, leicht würzig mit etwas Grapefruit.
