Die 1869 gegründete Cragganmore Distillery befindet sich in einer Senke zwischen Grandtown-on-Spey und Aberlour, am Oberlauf des Flusses Spey. Die Brennerei destilliert auf verhältnismäßig flachen und kurzen Brennblasen eine Maische, die aus Gerstenmalz mit einer Rauchigkeit von 2 ppm entstand. Die Abfüllungen der Brennerei sind Teil der weltweit bekannten und beliebten Classic Malts of Scotland-Reihe.

Cragganmore 12 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in Eichenholzfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 vol. % Alkohol.

 

Aroma: Getreidig mit Malzzucker, Früchten und Gewürzen mit zarter Eiche und gedeckt floraler Kante.

Geschmack: Süß mit Anflügen von Birne, Puderzucker und milden Gewürzen, unterschwelliger Hauch von Rauch.
