Die Glencadam Distillery wurde 1825 in den schottischen Highlands gegründet und hat in der Vergangenheit unzählige Eigentümerwechsel hinter sich. Bevor die Brennerei an den aktuellen Inhaber ging, produzierte Glencadam stark für die Blend-Industrie. Heute hingegen liegt der Fokus auf der Vermarktung der eigenen Single Malts.

Glencadam American Oak Reserve reifte für eine nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff.

 

Aroma: Malzbetont und süß mit reifen Obstnoten und einem Hauch Eiche, milde Gewürze.

Geschmack: Fruchtig mit Birnen und Äpfeln, leicht floral mit zuckriger Süße und Zitrusschalen.
