Monkey Shoulder ist nach einem körperlichen Leiden benannt, dass beim händischen Wenden der Gerste auf den Malzböden im Bereich der Schulter entstehen kann. Dieser Blended Malt stammt aus dem Hause William Grant. Er wird aus drei verschiendenen Single Malts kreiert: Glenfiddich, Balvenie und Kininvie.

Monkey Shoulder reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

 

Aroma: Malzbetont mit Zitrus und Anklängen reifer Früchte, süß mit etwas Eiche.

Geschmack: Anklänge von Banane und Orange, ätherische Öle mit Gewürzen und Malzzucker.
