The Ultimate Whisky Company wurde 1994 im niederländischen Amersfoort gegründet, als Han und Maurice van Wees damit begannen, ihre besten Single Malt-Fässer für die Abfüllung auszuwählen. Auch heute noch liegen die Qualitätsstandards für die Abfüllungen sehr hoch, was die Natürlichkeit der Whiskys widerspiegelt und unterstreicht.

Der 14-jährige Orkney ist ein Single Malt aus einer ungenannten Brennerei und reifte vom 23.02.2009 bis zum 05.2023 in einem Refill Sherry Butt (DRU17/A197-48/-49/-53/-58). Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

 

Aroma: Gerstenzucker, Zimtkekse, Zitrusfrüchte und tropische Früchte wie Bananen, Vanillepudding

Geschmack: sanfte Ankunft, Zimtkekse, Kekse, Gerste, wenig scharfe, süße Früchte
