Aus der Feder des unabhängigen Abfüllers Ian MacLeod stammen die Single Malts der Marke "Smokehead". Für Liebhaber rauchiger Tropfen greift Smokehead auf Single Malt Whiskys von der schottischen Insel Islay zurück, die in verschiedenen Fässern reiften und nachreiften.

Smokehead Rum Rebel reifte für nicht definierte Zeit zuerst in Eichenholzfässern und erhielt im Anschluss eine Nachreifung in Rumfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, nicht kältefiltriert.

 

Aroma: Getreidig und süß mit Zucker und Vanille, maritimer Torfrauch mit zarter Kräuternote und herber Eiche.

Geschmack: Süß mit Honig und Puderzucker, reife Zitronen, maritim und frisch mit leicht aschigem Rauch.
